We are currently in search of friendly, energetic, highly-motivated Breakfast Attendant to join our team at the Breakfast Bar. Each morning. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments and should be passionate about high quality food and service.

Key responsibilities include:
Set-up and breakdown of Breakfast Attendant display per established standards
Warmly greeting guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explaining all specials, promotions and food and beverage items on the menu
Taking food and beverage orders
Preparing specialty coffees and other food and beverage items according to guest specifications
Food Prep: Following recipes accurately and maintaining food preparation processes such as light cooking, dicing, cutting, and slicing vegetables and breads
Completing hot and cold food preparation assignment accurately, neatly, and in a timely fashion
Maintaining appropriate portion control and consistently monitoring food levels on the line, preparing food throughout the day as needed, anticipating and reacting to customer volume
Maintaining proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards while preparing and cooking food or beverages
Entering all orders into the POS
Collecting payment and making change in a timely and courteous manner
Maintaining a clean and well-organized work area
Maintaining self-serve coffee station with an appropriate supply of cups, lids, cream, milk, sugar, etc.
Restocking perishable and non-perishable items as necessitated by business demands
Checking expiration dates of products on a regular basis to ensure freshness of product
Having a thorough understanding of service and timing standards and serve guests per these established standards
Working in a team environment, assist other Breakfast Bar Team Members as needed
Answering questions about menu pricing, preparation and ingredients, making food and beverage recommendations to guests as appropriate
Balancing end-of-day paperwork, including cash, credit card and due backs with minimal errors, overages or shortages
Completing opening and closing side work
Assisting as needed with any training of new employees
Continuously participating in all training and/or activities to further knowledge, understanding and mastery of products, services
Reporting incidents of any nature to management (safety & security hazards, accidents, operational inconsistencies, etc.)
Understanding and adhering to company policy with regards to Evolution standards as well as Federal, State & Local laws

The ideal Breakfast Attendant candidate will have at least one year of experience in a restaurant or customer service environment, preferably with specialty coffee, exceptional communication skills and thrive working in a fast-paced environment. Culinary experience a plus! We are looking for positive, upbeat individuals who have a passion for delivering excellent service. The minimum qualifications for this position are:
Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
Possess a basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
Must possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money
Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends
Ability to stand, walk, and move around during entire shift
Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice
Must have a valid Certified Food Handlers Card or be capable of obtaining one
