We're currently searching for a talented Pastry Cook to assist with the preparation of luxury resort quality pastries and baked good to be served in all hotel food outlets.
To understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
To assist and support Pastry Chef, to ensure efficient and professional preparation of pastries and baked goods.
To portion, plate, and tray all desserts for hotel food outlets.
To review banquet function sheets and leisure counts daily and complete daily task log prepared by Pastry Chef.
To assist in the maintenance of a reference file of current recipes.
To requisition pastry supplies, as needed and approved.
To fill pastry orders, as requested.
To represent and market L'Auberge de Sedona in a positive and professional manner as requested and continually promote the property internally and externally by attending special events when requested and building relationships both on and off property.
To immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions and avoid injury to self and others.
To maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas and equipment at all times.
To perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed.

Able to effectively manage staff.
Preferred & Required Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
English fluency required.
Spanish language ability helpful.
Must have minimum six months experience in pastry preparation and decorating. Show pieces optional.
Familiar with OSHA, SB198, local Department of Health regulations, and relevant current laws governing handling of hazardous substances.
Hotel experience preferred.
