We are currently looking for an Inventory Controller to join our team at L’Auberge de Sedona. As an Inventory Controller, you’ll be responsible for processing Internet and FIT reservations accurately and efficiently by transferring guest data from various extranet and global distribution sites to the property’s computer system. In addition, you’ll be responsible for handling all email inquiries and requests accurately and efficiently by answering email correspondence in a courteous, prompt and professional manner while ensuring maximum room revenues.
Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities of an Inventory Controller / Rooms Coordinator include:
Processing GDS/Internet/FIT reservations promptly and accurately
Entering guest reservations into the computer system while assigning reservations to the appropriate GDS/Internet/FIT categories (net) rates
Reviewing group inventories and allotments prior to processing rooming lists for accuracy as well as proper stay through pattern
Processing group convention blocks and rooming lists properly by entering data into computer system using the appropriate market segments
Processing accurate records/spreadsheets for coding and tracking reservations, advance deposits, occupancy, competitive rate shops, transient history information, travel agent commission processing, no-shows and ERP
Monitoring and maintaining the Synxis / Sabre system to ensure reservations are syncing with the system properly and accurately
Monitoring all pre-paid reservations and ensuring that the proper deposits are being charged in a timely manner
Assisting in administrative duties as they relate to booking, tracking, charging, handling and entering reservations
Maintaining an up to date working knowledge of all property amenities as well as any special events
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, high attention to detail and a clear understanding of guest service in a resort environment.

Preferred & Required Experience:
Previous data entry and Opera PMS experience is a plus
