Hard Rock Bars is currently auditioning for San Diego's best nightlife Cockatil Servers for Hard Rock Hotel San Diego's upcoming New Year's Eve Party on Tuesday, 12/31.
As a temporary Cocktail Server, you’ll be responsible for welcoming our guests, suggestive selling, taking orders and serving cocktails and other beverages while ensuring rock star service in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
Summary of essential job functions
This position requires previous cocktail server experience in a high volume, fast-paced, nightclub environment.
In addition to work-related experience, your qualifications must include a passion to provide great guest service, thoughtful attention to details, and an outgoing, extremely friendly "how may I serve you" attitude that guests will remember.
Minimum requirements
Ability to stand, walk and move around during entire shift
Ability to handle, carry and/or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
Ability to deliver Kick-Ass service to each hotel guest in high volume venue
Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends
Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice
Must have a valid alcohol awareness certification or be capable of obtaining certification
Must have a valid Certified Food Handlers Card or be capable of obtaining one prior to hire date
Must have a valid TIPS Card or be capable of obtaining one prior to hire date
Skills / Ability to:
Communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice
Work and interact well with team members and other departments throughout the organization
Effectively deal with internal and external customers and staff, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy
Handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner
Participate in the creation of an enjoyable work environment
Other Requirements and Characteristics:
Detail oriented, have a passion for delivering excellent service, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
