Hard Rock Bars is currently auditioning for San Diego's best nightlife Bartenders for Hard Rock Hotel San Diego's upcoming New Year's Eve Party on Tuesday, 12/31.
Job summary
As a temporary Bartender, you’ll be responsible for the set-up, maintenance and operation of the bar. You’ll also be responsible for delivering service worthy of a rock star in a high volume and fast-paced environment.
Minimum requirements
In addition to work-related experience, your qualifications must include a passion to provide rockin' guest service, thoughtful attention to details, and an outgoing, extremely friendly "how may I serve you" attitude that guests will remember.
Ability to stand, walk and move around during entire shift
Ability to handle, carry and/or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
Ability to deliver Kick-Ass service to each guest in a high volume, fast-paced environment
Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends
Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice
Must have a valid alcohol awareness certification or be capable of obtaining certification prior to hire date
Must have a valid Certified Food Handlers Card or be capable of obtaining one prior to hire date
Skills / Ability to:
Computer skills (POS systems)
Communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice
Work and interact well with team members and other departments throughout the organization
Effectively deal with internal and external customers and staff, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy
Handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner
Participate in the creation of an enjoyable work environment
