ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
As a growing company, we are looking to add a smart, talented, and uber-creative Graphic Designer to our Creative Department. This is a diverse role where the Graphic Designer will be working on several different types of projects at one time and have the ability to truly show off their unique vision. We hope to find someone with a strong visual voice to round out our design team. This role requires the ability to think strategically and creatively in creating distinct campaigns for our clients. The Graphic Designer is responsible for working within the Creative Department to uphold global brand standards while creating compelling, dynamic, and well thought out marketing materials. This is a fast-paced position in an agency-style setting that requires strong organizational and communication skills. He/she must enjoy working in a collaborative team environment and have a passion for advertising and art. Deadline driven with excellent attention to detail and follow through is a must. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work collaboratively with the Creative Director, Marketing Managers, and e-commerce team to craft engaging and effective visual design
- Develops, designs, and completes the layout for marketing materials to include property collateral, support materials, brochures, menus, maps, rack cards, flyers, ads, invitations, web graphics, social media graphics and signage
- Work with internal clients to develop specialty collateral including sales blitzes, grand opening/re-opening materials, holiday themes, and marketing events
- Own the process of design from concept to completion, including proofing for accuracy and adherence to brand style guides and deadlines
- Concept new logos and branding elements for new build properties or food and beverage outlets
- Manage multiple last-minute changes in creative direction and numerous rounds of edits
- Assist creative team with graphic design and production related to all corporate and field marketing assets for digital and print
- Prepare layout according to ad request forms and prepare files to printer specifications
- Coordinates with outside agencies to complete projects including printers and delivery services
SKILLS
- Expert knowledge and experience with Adobe CC programs especially Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
- Thorough working knowledge of Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Unique and creative design sensibilities
- Strong logo design skills and ability to illustrate is a plus
- Ability to work quickly and juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment
- Ability to format content and typography at a professional level
- Ability to uphold brand and style guidelines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with a team and maintain professional working relationships with internal clients and external partners
- Strong copywriting and proofing skills
- Effective time management skills and ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented individual who reviews his/her work carefully and has strong attention to detail
- Strong conceptual thinker with a creative flair
- Ability to take and give constructive feedback and be open to new ideas and processes
- Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, advertising, and digital design
- Interest in photography a plus
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to three years of related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 2-5 years of professional design experience, preferably in an agency setting
Professional demeanor with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal clients
Strong portfolio showcasing high-end design, a creative eye, and clean design aesthetic
