The Opportunity We are currently looking for a Housekeeping Coordinator to join our team at our property. As a Housekeeping Coordinator, you'll assist with fulfilling the vision of consistently providing a clean and well maintained guestroom, for each of our guests before they arrive and during their visit. You'll also help ensure that we are creating an inviting and relaxing sleep experience for our guests
Job Responsibilities As a Housekeeping Coordinator, your responsibilities will include: Coordinating room assignments for Housekeepers; Reporting all maintenance issues; Facilitating Guest and Housekeeper requests through and Assisting with customizing the experience; Performing general administrative duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Director; Working with the Housekeeping team to develop their skills; Answering questions about the hotel and Answering questions about local area attractions and things to do; Listening to and resolving Guest opportunities in a timely manner; Assisting with meeting Guest needs immediately and following-up with appropriate departments and the Guest to ensure 100% satisfaction; Using radio communication Job Requirements The minimum qualifications for the Housekeeping Coordinator position are: High school degree preferred and/or previous work experience in service for at least 2 years; Understanding of lifestyle hotel products and guest services; Ability to participate in the creation of an enjoyable work environment; Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers and staff, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy; Ability to perform numerical operations using basic counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division; Ability to use logic to define the problem, collect information, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, interpret information and deal with abstract variables for unique or unfamiliar situations; Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions and/or short correspondence and memos; An operational knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; Ability to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, and bending) for extended periods of time.
