The Stanley Hotel is nestled in the hills of Estes Park, Colorado, at the base of Rocky Mountain National Park and just an hour away from Denver/Boulder. Built in 1909 and listed on America’s National Register of Historic Places, The Stanley Hotel is no ordinary place to work! The muse for Stephen King's The Shining, this iconic property has also served as the filming location for other productions, including “The Shining” miniseries and “Dumb and Dumber.”

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervising and directing the prompt, efficient and friendly serving of all food and beverage.
• Supporting the entire Food and Beverage operation including supervising other areas if necessary, handling special projects, running promotions, social media and marketing.
• Assisting servers, bussers and host staff in their job duties as necessary.
• Ensuring all opening, closing and running side work is completed on a daily basis.
• Acting as a liaison between kitchen, banquets and front of house employees and operations.
• Interviewing and selecting new team members; training and developing team members.
• Communicating effectively, giving direction, support, timely feedback and recognition of performance.
• Working quickly and independently to resolve operational and/or guest issues when necessary, ensuring proper follow through with appropriate manager(s).
• Communicating pertinent information to team by conducting monthly department meetings and organizing and conducting pre-shift meetings on a consistent basis.
• Evaluating work procedures, reviewing standards, identifying methods for increasing efficiency or effectiveness and responding proactively to any needs that have arisen.
• Developing and implementing cost saving and profit enhancing measures while monitoring labor costs on a daily basis.
• Ensuring par stock levels are maintained by calculating inventory.
• Support safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times.
• Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a Manager.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Inherent ability to coach and lead others.
• A passion for guest service and food.
• Ability to attract and keep patrons.
• Food & beverage financial acumen.
• Offers, promotional and sales experience.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• Ability to hire, train and motivate bar staff.
• Ability to work well with others including staff, management, vendors and guests.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to make timely and competent decisions.
• Available for a flexible work schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
