The Stanley Hotel is nestled in the hills of Estes Park, Colorado, at the base of Rocky Mountain National Park and just an hour away from Denver/Boulder. Built in 1909 and listed on America’s National Register of Historic Places, The Stanley Hotel is no ordinary place to work! The muse for Stephen King's The Shining, this iconic property has also served as the filming location for other productions, including “The Shining” miniseries and “Dumb and Dumber.”

THE WHISKEY BAR
With currently more than 1000 whiskeys, scotches and bourbons in stock, the Whiskey Bar & Lounge offers one of the largest whiskey selections available in Colorado. For those who prefer something other than whiskey, the bar offers a selection of wine and a full bar which features a historic cocktail menu. Guests can try the famed Redrum Punch in an old-fashioned space with a stunning carved wooden bar. Fun fact… if you’re a fan of the movie “Dumb and Dumber”… the whiskey bar where Lloyd declares to his fellow patrons that “we landed on the moon!” is the Stanley Hotel Whiskey Bar.
