Description:
The Stanley Hotel located in beautiful Estes Park, CO is looking for an Income Auditor. As an Income Auditor, you’ll be responsible for all finance activities related to accurate revenue reporting, payment and tax balancing on a daily basis.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and member of Historic Hotels of America, the 202-room Stanley Hotel continues its rich tradition of offering the finest service and amenities in beautiful Estes Park, CO.
Responsibilities:
• Preparing, reviewing and distributing accurate daily flash reports
• Ensuring daily and monthly tax balancing for Sales and TOT taxes
• Reviewing Guest, House, and Group Ledgers daily for high balances, past due balances and accurate postings
• Reconciling daily house charges
• Completing daily POS ticket audits
• Reconciliation and organization of night audit packs and daily journal
• Completing daily and weekly reconciliation of cash and credit card deposits
• Completing daily and monthly scanning of financial reports
• Assisting in Month End processing
• Reviewing and validating daily POS/PMS adjustments and transfers
• Payment scheduling and processing for all group functions
• Resolving all credit card disputes
• Uploading of Daily/Weekly revenue to Accounting software

Job Requirements:
The minimum qualifications for the Income Audit position are:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a hotel income auditor, night auditor or front desk agent
• Excellent math skills
• Aptitude for performing numerical analysis of data and formulating conclusions and/or solutions
• Experience with reading and analyzing general ledger reports
• Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality with respect to any and all confidential information disclosed
• Highly analytical and strong attention to detail and
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills and accounting programs
• Working knowledge of Agilysys (or similar property management system)
• Ability to multi-task in a high-traffic environment
• Excellent organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability in completing tasks on time
• Must possess strong communication skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing skills

Preferred & Required Experience:
The minimum qualifications for this position are:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a hotel income auditor, night auditor or front desk agent
• Working knowledge of Agilysys (or similar property management system)
• Working knowledge of Aloha (or similar point of sale system)
