We are currently looking for an Income Auditor to join our team aboard the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA. The Income Auditor is responsible for all finance activities related to accurate revenue reporting, payment and tax balancing on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities of the Income Auditor include:
• Preparing, reviewing and distributing accurate daily flash reports
• Ensuring daily and monthly tax balancing for Sales and TOT taxes
• Reviewing Guest, House, and Group Ledgers daily for high balances, past due balances and accurate postings
• Reconciling daily house charges
• Completing daily POS ticket audits
• Updating and organizing night audit packs
• Completing daily and weekly reconciliation of cash and credit card deposits
• Completing daily and monthly scanning of financial reports
• Assisting in Month End processing
• Reviewing and validating daily POS/PMS adjustments and transfers

Job Requirements:
The minimum qualifications for the Income Audit position are:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a hotel income auditor, night auditor or front desk agent
• Excellent math skills
• Aptitude for performing numerical analysis of data and formulating conclusions and/or solutions
• Experience with reading and analyzing general ledger reports
• Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality with respect to any and all confidential information disclosed
• High level of attention to detail
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• An operational knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting programs
• Working knowledge of Opera (or similar property management system)
• Working knowledge of Micros
• Ability to multi-task in a high-traffic environment
• Excellent organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability in completing tasks on time
• Must possess strong communication skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing skills

Preferred & Required Experience:
