Director of Global Marketing

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT The Director of Global Marketing reports to the Chief Marketing Officer. This role is responsible for developing, driving and executing brand marketing initiatives, in support of the overarching Brand strategies. Works closely with Corporate partners to drive top line sales. Technically savvy, highly social media focused, and understanding the importance of storytelling within a fashion luxury company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and execute marketing strategies and activities in partnership with the Chief Marketing Officer
• Develop and manage marketing product marketing calendar, briefings and 360 coordination for all brand initiatives, including alignment with regional teams
• Regularly share product priorities with cross-functional partners to support development of content and marketing stories
• Partner with cross-functional teams on content/creative and how to best maximize and utilize for all channels
• Compile analytical data and hindsight reports related to global marketing initiatives
• Assist with development of product and brand positioning in the marketplace
• Manage global marketing budget in close partnership with the Chief Marketing Officer
• Manage the global marketing calendars in close partnership with the Chief Marketing Officer
• Oversees and directs the efforts of Fashion Office to include Fashion Office Supervisor, sample calendar, line sheets and sample inventory.
• Provides coaching, direction, develops and empowers direct reports

• Additional responsibilities assigned by supervisor related to your position/department
• Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Directly manages Marketing Coordinator, Fashion Office Manager and Event Manager

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
• Interacts with all levels throughout organization including employees and outside vendors

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years of related marketing experience in a fashion luxury company
• Proven track record of excellence in fast-moving marketing organization
• Proven ability to plan and organize major marketing programs
• Experience working with a regional China marketing team is a plus
