Marketing Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT (defines the major functions/purpose of the position)

Reports to Marketing Manager. The Marketing Coordinator will primarily be responsible for assisting the Marketing / Communications Department in various functions of organization and project management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The self-motivated candidate will need exceptional organizational skills and excellent computer skills (high proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and InDesign a plus). Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Retrieve all on-order buy each season from wholesale accounts, retail and ecommerce. Styles include all runway and/or photographed looks
• Create and distribute monthly information for the company to inform all of current national, international and regional advertising as well as co-op advertising and mailers.
• Obtain and manage getting swatches for color matching in retouching
• Manage all business card, letterhead requests for the company
• Handle all UPS shipments for department
• Serve as main contact for all B-Roll/DVD orders
Assist with sending out samples for editors, stylists and VIPs/Celebs
• Maintain PR database of outlets and publications
• Maintain sjk.com email calendar
• Research relevant content for brand social media pages
• Maintain archive of collateral (mailers and lookbooks)
• Assist in production of seasonal photoshoots
• Running departments errands as needed
• General administrative duties

• Adheres to local, state and federal laws
• Additional responsibilities assigned by supervisor related to your position/department
• Less than 20% travel may be required as necessary
• Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• This position does not have supervisory responsibilities

• Interacts with all levels throughout organization including employees and outside vendors

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The following are the minimum qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Education/Experience:
• 1-2 years experience
• Fashion, advertising or PR related background or account/project management is a plus
• Copy writing skills a plus
• Bachelors Degree
• Knowledge of Mac/Apple computers and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) a must. Knowledge of Photoshop, Acrobat or InDesign a plus!
