Merchandising Operations Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT
The Coordinator will work closely with Merchandise Planning, Merchandising, and Design group to provide operational and administrative support on all tasks associated with bringing successful categories to market in a timely and profitable manner. Incumbent assists Vice President of Merchandise Planning in development of Selling Materials and Workflow/Time line management tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Updates and maintains all selling information in Design database as directed by Sales, Merchandising, & Design (size code coloration information, adding/modifying style & color descriptions, canceling/reinstating styles, color records, adding illustrations, and cancellation/group changes & color/style additions to line sheets)
• Makes record adjustments in Design data base & WIP to reflect market prep and post market Sales requests (adding additional records for color additions, pull up styles, adjusting styles that change groups/divisions, etc.)
• Support seasonal market prep by running style numbering report, creating/modifying line sheets, assigning production numbers to all styles within a season, assigning pictures in the color/joor folder, 1st & 2nd round cancellations, as directed by Chief Merchant
• Communicates market prep & post market style adjustments to Technical Design and Patternmaking
• Creates and maintains line build and style grid
• Audits design showroom boards for tracking purposes
• Tracks and updates styles in Merchandising plan
• Utilizes merchandising plan to post & update style tickets on Design boards
• Assists in pulling historical sell in and sell thru data as needed to support planning function
• Processes special cutting requests, re-orders and special customer requests
• Pulls and distributes Weekly Sales Reporting
• Notifies sales of style modifications applied after market as needed
• Attends Design showroom meetings as needed

• This position does not have supervisory responsibilities

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• High school diploma or general education degree required,
• 2 or more years of data entry experience
• Efficient computer skills in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) and company intranet
• Functional experience managing a design database program like Gallery
• Proficient analytical and mathmatical skills
