Regional Wholesale Manager- Northern California

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT
Responsible for building strong relationships with clients, driving full price retail sell thru and promote other areas of opportunity for growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coaches stores on clientele development and increasing sales base
• Ensures visual and merchandising are in line with St. John standards
• Provides daily feedback to National Sales Director
• Partners with wholesale on appropriate staffing and census
• Communicates assortment needs and/or opportunities with Account Manager and/or Buyer
• Marketing/Promotion strategy for each store
• Negotiates funding for wholesale events
• Encourages Focus Days or Stock Shows with or without your presence
• Oversees all aspects related to St. John Trunk Shows:
o Works with store in advance on appropriate stock levels
o Works with Fashion Office on appropriate samples for show
o Kick Off Meetings (encourage with or without your participation)
o Provides personal store overview to Trunk Show Rep (only once)
• Encourages stores to take ownership of their business
• Establishes and nurtures relationship with all store personnel including Sr. Management
• Work with St. John Corporate & Even Department on the brand standards of the events (normal, lunch, cocktails, etc)
• Oversees the distribution of all promotional gifts and prizes
• Partners with store, buying office and business representative on goals for trunk show
• Completes a follow-up evaluation of each show/ event
• Communicates with Director of Wholesale Promotions on Trunk Show/ event updates

• Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management
• Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance
• Adheres to all Company Policies & Procedures and Safety Regulations
• Adheres to local, state and federal laws
• Additional responsibilities assigned by supervisor related to your position/department
• Approximately 50% travel may be required as necessary, depending on home location.
• Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary
• Models the “St. John Way”

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Does not supervise any staff

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
• Interacts with customers, outside vendors and partners, as well as Purchasing and Sales

Education/Experience:
• 2-4 years wholesale account management experience
• Knowledge of luxury apparel business preferred
• Experience with women's RTW
• Strong computer skills, MS Office
• Ability to communicate with all levels of professionals
