Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Business Analyst

St. John Knits is seeking a Business and Data Analytics Professional to join the growing, fast-paced E-commerce Department. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the exciting space of the E-commerce in high end fashion industry.

The ideal candidate will be good at leading business intelligence, metrics and analytics initiatives with significant experience in development of analytic insight, strategic initiatives, marketing resource investment planning and actionable business decision driving. You will be passionate about developing insights, setting high standards, providing information that enables dynamic decision-making and consistently improving customer experience by using data analytics skillsets. Your excellent business acumen and communication skills enable you to work with business leaders and develop key business questions, then work backwards to deliver meaningful insights that answer those questions. Your deep analytical skills, strong business judgement, and focus on our core operational inputs will make yourself a critical partner to business leaders as you leverage analytical insights to help them prioritize initiatives, identify gaps in process and performance, and remove barriers to execution. You shall be excited about working with data, be driven to dive deep, and passionate about collaborating with Leadership and Operations teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, develop and consistently enhance E-commerce traffic analytics, web analytics, customer analytics and other BI reporting
• Analyze external and internal data understand the competitive landscape, the customer behavior pattern, the website conversion funnel and provide actional insights to support sales and customer growth
• Create insights for optimization and scaling of digital campaigns including Paid Search, Display, Email, Social Media, and Mobile.
• Suggest A/B testing scenarios and manage statistical analysis and reporting process.
• Create mechanisms and processes of data collection, performance analyses, goal prediction and reporting etc. to support our operational functions
• In partnership with the CRM team, execute customer behavior and campaign response reporting including Life Time Value and client segmentation and other long-term trends in shopping behavior of Customers acquired through digital marketing.
• In partnership with the CRM team, provide insights into the omni-channel shopping behaviors of our customers (e.g., client acquisition, cross-over shopping in Boutiques and Outlets).
• Support strategic initiatives from the analytical standpoint
Own key executive reporting consumed by leaderships·
• Ensure that the quality and timeliness of analytic deliverables to meet and exceed the expectations

Education/Experience:
• BA/BS or Master degree in marketing, economics, management information systems, computer science, business, or other highly quantitative fields.
• Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience as an Analyst or equivalent position required.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking ability, a strong knowledge of Excel, pivot tables, charting and databases.
• Strong knowledge of Digital Marketing metrics and Google Analytics and/or Omniture.
• Attention to detail, independent thinker, and ability to recognize patterns and anomalies in data.
• Strong understanding of Digital marketing across key channels including Paid Search, Email, Affiliates, Display Media and Social in an eCommerce setting required.
• Exceptionally strong analytical skills and proven capability to use data to drive business decisions and marketing optimization required.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
• Experience in email marketing platforms (Listrak preferred).
• Excellent verbal, written and interposal communication skills is required.
• Demonstrated project management experience and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to handle change, learn and keep abreast of new technology.
• Experience managing vendor relationships (agency, Web).
• Very collaborative, putting the shared team goals first.
