Retail Project Management Intern
The St. John Internship Program is designed to attract, coach and retain top talent graduating from leading local universities on disciplines related to St. John's business practices. Our goal is to help acclimate local university/college students to our company culture, build on their creativity, and allow them the best opportunity to get to know St. John.
The St. John Internship Programs occurs in the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons. The 10 week unpaid internship program will allow students to intern a minimum of 16 hours per week over the course of the season. Local candidates only, please. *Students must be able to receive school credits. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES - Gain exposure to Retail Operations, Training and Planning within Boutique division - Assist Retail Operations with operations goals for retail, including assisting with retail communication, quarterly retail newsletter, mystery shop recaps, analyzing store budgets, store compliance, policies and procedures and any other projects as needed. - Assist Retail Training with developing training tools for retail in areas such as company history, in-store experience, selling tools and product knowledge. Assist with product training, including looking at silhouettes, fabric contents, textiles and researching trends. PREFERRED ABILITIES - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Merchandising, Retail or Business major - Previous retail and retail management/operations experience a plus - Strong attention to detail/numbers oriented - Monday availability a plus |
