Import Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT
The Import Coordinator reports to the Logistics Supervisor and organizes and prepares all imports of finished goods and other administrative functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the timely delivery of imports of finished goods from foreign contractors by freight forwarders, UPS and FedEx.
• Ensures all finished goods are assessed with the correct assist values and assigned with the correct tariff classifications for US Custom compliance.
• Responsible for reviewing all related invoices for accuracy, properly coding them for accounting and approve for payment
• Responsible for electronically maintaining complete shipping records for every shipment
• Responsible for prompt auditing and uploading of UPS invoices into Movex
• Responsible to upload HTS shipping attributes (US Import & US Export Schedule B)
• Responsibilities include maintaining Duty Drawback program; accurate and timely submissions
• Assist with International shipment, when necessary
• Assist with special logistics projects/reports

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• This position does not have supervisory responsibilities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The following are the minimum qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Education/Experience:
• 2-3 years of shipping experience
• Must have knowledge of UPS Worldship/FedEx Ship Manager shipping and Excel
• High School diploma
