Merchandise Assistant, Wholesale Off Price Accounts

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT (defines the major functions/purpose of the position)
The Merchandise Assistant will work closely with the Senior Account Management team supporting all tasks associated with the placement, tracking and troubleshooting of merchandise for designated accounts.

• Responsible for accurate order entry and cancellations by specific deadlines
• Troubleshoot and communicate discrepancies in line sheets, Movex, and shipping
• Communicate with accounts when Electronic Data Interchanges (EDI) are not transmitted correctly
• Order entry of non-Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) accounts
• Process shipping reports and closely work with the allocation team on any outstanding merchandise
• Maintain orders; re-routes, extending Purchase Orders (PO’s) and Return To Vendor’s (RTV)
• Assist buyers, assistants and sales associates with daily customer service calls
• Monitor Accounts’ orders to ensure orders are received and shipped on time & delivered by cancel date
• Manage orders through partnering with the warehouse to insure timely deliveries and high fulfillment
• Market Support; Prep market materials and line sheets for accounts, support Buyers and Senior Account Managers as needed.
• Manage the sales estimate entry process, and communicate all revisions to production before the fabric buy is finalized

• This role does not oversee any direct reports

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Retail luxury experience strongly preferred
• A minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook
