SUMMARY: Evaluates and directs the transformation of the City’s organization into a high performance and market-competitive service business that consistently delivers quality products and services to its customers and contributes to long-term organizational stability.

CHARACTERISTICS: The successful candidate will value collaboration, have a positive attitude and focus on building relationships working alongside employees, city leadership and elected officials. A candidate who is experienced in offering big picture solutions, well versed in municipal operations, politically savvy and understands the balance between service and efficiency is strongly desired.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in General Business Administration or a related field
• Eight years of progressively responsible experience, including three years at the Division Manager level, or its equivalent
• Certifications/licensure may be required depending on area of assignment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Business strategy and/or strategic planning experience at the executive level
• Private and public sector experience

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
• Must pass pre-employment drug test
• Must pass criminal history check
• Must pass motor vehicle records check

SALARY RANGE:
$127,080 - $134,705
