The Opportunity
We’re auditioning for professional, outgoing and outrageous personalities to fill the role of Banquet Server at DoubleTree Doheny Beach - Dana Point. As a Server, you’ll be responsible for the set-up, maintenance and service of banquet functions.. You’ll also be responsible for delivering service worthy of a rock star.
Summary of essential job functions
• Set up according to hotel standards and Banquet Event Order to ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently
• Serve guests in a friendly, courteous and professional manner
• Break down after the completion of functions, storing liquor, supplies and equipment according to the hotel’s standards
• Follow all state liquor laws
• Follow prescribed procedures in serving liquor with care to avoid problems with intoxicated guests
• Respond to guests’ problems, complaints and accidents
• Ensure that the service areas are kept clean and tidy during service
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction
• Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum requirements
• Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends
• Must have a valid Certified Food Handlers Card or be capable of obtaining one
