The Assistant Director of Marketing at Aimbridge Hospitality is the primary point of contact for all marketing and public relations duties as they relate to the Statler Hotel, A Curio Collection Hotel by Hilton, the Statler Residences, and a select group of full-service hotels within the Aimbridge Hospitality portfolio. This position reports to the Director of Marketing for Second Wave and will office out of Aimbridge Hospitality’s headquarters, located in Plano, TX. Additionally, this position will be required to spend two or more days a week on-property at the Statler Hotel, located in downtown Dallas, TX. Duties and responsibilities specific for this position include, but are not limited to:
• Drive and execute all media spend on an annual basis as approved by the General Manager and Ownership. Responsible for tracking and reporting out all ROI
• Create overall marketing strategy to drive revenue in all areas of each hotel and residences including but not limited to rooms, weddings, social catering, and meetings
• Ensure all on-property marketing collateral is within the proposed brand positioning
• Oversight of the creation, proofing and trafficking of all marketing pieces and brand related items
• Maintain, manage, and execute consistent marketing messages though all marketing channels including social media, advertising, public relations and online presence
• Continue to foster partnerships with outside event and food and beverage outlets to create hotel relevant promotions and packages
• Conduct quarterly stakeholder meetings and reports, or as frequently as needed, of return on investment with all marketing, social, and public relation efforts
• Maintain, maximize and grow vendor relations with outside agencies – example: public relations, social media, ecommerce
• Interface with the hotel brands to ensure all brand related items are being fully leveraged – example: marketing, brand websites, public relations, and social media
• Point of contact for hotel’s annual promotions calendar and responsible for alignment with seasonal offerings
• After hours attendance of any on-property public relations or promotional events as needed to represent the hotels
• Office three days out of the week at Aimbridge Hospitality headquarters in Plano, TX and office two days at the Statler hotel to attend all strategy meetings
• Development and growth of sponsorships and local area partnerships for activities and events
• Partnering with stakeholders to help guide future positioning, branding, logo creation and voice of any potential new build hotels
• Securing all needed online items for any new projects such as Google listings, social media handles, vanity URLs, and trademarks research
• Working with Public Relation firm to develop ongoing announcements and media alerts for any new projects as well as vetting and interfacing with any incoming media inquiries from local press or otherwise
• Any other items stakeholders may need from a marketing or ecommerce perspective on new build projects
• Lead all marketing efforts for a smaller portfolio of local Aimbridge, Texas-based hotels, including media placement and budgeting, and collateral creation
