About This Opportunity:
The Stanley Hotel located in beautiful Estes Park, CO is looking for a Cocktail Server. As a Cocktail Server, you’ll be responsible for serving menu items to guests in a prompt, friendly and courteous manner. You’ll also be responsible for delivering flawless service.

Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities of a Cocktail Server include:
• Greeting guests in a friendly and courteous manner
• Taking orders, using a guest check/ticket
• Ensuring guests are of legal drinking age
• Placing orders with bartender
• Stocking and maintaining the service area
• Serving guests promptly and according to service standards
• Collecting and processing payment for drink orders
• Completing all necessary side work
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of menu items, garnishes, and preparation methods
• Suggestively selling food and beverages to guests
• Remaining alert to guest needs
• Checking food and beverage before serving it to guests to make sure appearance, temperature and portions are correct
• Bussing tables according to standard procedures
• Closing out tickets per standard procedures

Job Requirements:
The ideal Cocktail Server candidate will have previous experience as a Cocktail Server and a passion for delivering excellent service. The minimum qualifications for this position are:
• Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
• Possess a basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
• Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends
• Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 20 pounds through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout shift
• Ability to stand, walk, and move around during entire shift
• Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice
• Must have a valid alcohol awareness certification or be capable of obtaining certification
