The Opportunity -
We are currently looking for an Overnight Valet Parker/Driver to join our team at the Hyatt Centric Fisherman’s Wharf.
Position Responsibilities
The Valet Parker/Driver will be responsible to provide an excellent and consistent level of service to our customers and safely park the customer's vehicles in the assigned valet parking area.
• Valet Parker/Driver are the first and last point of contact for many of the hotel guests, so valet attendants must be able to demonstrate a positive guest interaction experience.
• When not driving a guests’ vehicle in and out of the garage, valet attendant will perform necessary duties within the hotel, as directed by management. These duties will include bellman functions and patrolling the building. • Valet Parker/Driver will maintain the highest level of courtesy to all vehicles in the front of the hotel and garage.
Essential Functions/Qualifications
• Must be able to provide clean DMV driving record for consideration.
• Must be able to lift luggage from ground to vehicle loading deck height up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, sit, walk, bend and carry required job duty items for extended periods of time.
• Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management. Minimum 2 years work experience in hotel operations. Excellent customer service, communications and interpersonal skills are a must.
