We are currently looking for a Guest Service Runner to join our team at our Hotel Karlan a DoubleTree by Hilton property.
As a Guest Service Runner, you’ll be responsible for greeting and serving guests in accordance with hotel standards while providing the highest level of service possible in an efficient, courteous and professional manner.

Job Responsibilities
• Receive, store, ship, and deliver incoming and outgoing department packages and mail. Verify quantity and condition of packages upon receipt prior to delivery to guest.
• Communicate with guests and staff regarding received packages. Maintain accurate tracking system on all shipping and receiving transactions, including receiving guest signatures for received packages.
• Secure the shipping room and its contents, ensuring safekeeping of packages.
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Greet and engage guests in the lobby. Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by management.

Job Requirements
The ideal Guest Service Runner candidate will have some customer service experience, exceptional communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for positive, upbeat individuals who have a passion for delivering excellent service.
The minimum qualifications for this position are:
Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
Ability to stand, walk and move around during entire shift.
Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice.
Must have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include early morning, evening, night, and weekend shifts.
