About This Opportunity:
The Stanley Hotel located in beautiful Estes Park, CO is looking for a Barback. As a Barback, you’ll be responsible for assisting our bartenders by ensuring all beverage and bar supplies are stocked and ready to go throughout the shift ensuring flawless service.

Known for its old world charm, The Stanley Hotel boasts spectacular views in every direction and is less than six miles from Rocky Mountain National Park. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and member of Historic Hotels of America, the 202-room Stanley Hotel continues its rich tradition of offering the finest service and amenities in beautiful Estes Park, CO.

Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities of a barback include:
• Requisitioning and stocking liquor, beer, wine, juices, soft drinks, garnishments, condiments and glassware
• Ensuring that bar and service areas are organized, clean and neat
• Replenishing supplies in the bar area, including garnishes, liquor, beer, glassware, napkins and other related items
• Assisting bartenders throughout the shift with supplies, glassware, change, etc.
• Moving portable bars into banquet rooms
• Cleaning portable bars at the closed of the function
• Assisting bartenders and servers as needed
• Recognizing and notifying management of any issues resulting from guest complaints, intoxication, or disruptive behavior

Job Requirements:
In addition to work-related experience, your qualifications must include a passion to provide great guest service, thoughtful attention to details, and an outgoing, extremely friendly “how may I serve you” attitude that guests will remember.
The minimum qualifications for this position are:
• Previous experience as a barback a plus!
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
• Possess a basic knowledge of beer, wine and spirits
• Must be familiar with standard drink recipes
• Ability to stand, walk and move around during entire shift
• Must possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money
• Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice
• Must have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends
• Must have a valid alcohol awareness certification or be capable of obtaining certification
