The Stanley Hotel located in beautiful Estes Park, CO is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for supporting the Housekeeping Manager in the daily operation and leadership of our Housekeeping Team.
Known for its old world charm, The Stanley Hotel boasts spectacular views in every direction and is less than six miles from Rocky Mountain National Park. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and member of Historic Hotels of America, the 202-room Stanley Hotel continues its rich tradition of offering the finest service and amenities in beautiful Estes Park, CO.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate for this position will see the role as pivotal to career development in the Rooms Division. Prior resort experience is preferred however, the range and scope is broad so we will keep to the concept of hire for talent and train for technology.
Daily duties will be performed both indoor and out of doors, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, sitting, computer work, telephones are required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
• Assigning daily boards for the Room Attendants and Housemen
• Creating weekly schedules
o Record absences
• Maintaining accurate payroll records
o Receive requests off
o Submit payroll adjustments
• Reporting room status updates to Housekeeping Supervisors, Front Desk and Engineering
o Check Outs
o “SOS” situations
o Room deficiencies/repairs required
 Ensure rooms in need of repair are placed in Out of Order status and returned to ready available
• Record and fulfill requests from guests in house
o Ensuring response to requests made via reservation system or prior to arrival
• Answer all telephone calls and record or respond accordingly
• Handle key inventory
• Handle Lost and Found
• Inventory of supplies
o Conduct inventory reports
o Place purchase orders
o Receive orders
o Update Checkbook
• Run daily reports
o Arrival/departures
o Revinate
 Update Dashboard
 Respond to say Thank You to 4s & 5s
 Alert Director of Ops of any deficiencies
 Keep a record of associate’s named
• Walk through exterior of public areas each shift
• Assist with Room Inspections as required
• Keep a record of Supervisors inspection consistency
• Keep a record of activities that help develop an Associate Recognition Program
• Record supervisor’s inventory of linen closets
o Update laundry company of specific needs/increased needs
• Maintain carpet shampoo schedule

Job Requirements:
The ideal Housekeeping Supervisor will possess strong communication skills, a clear understanding of guest service in a hotel environment and demonstrate the ability to supervise others.
The minimum qualifications for this position are:
• Minimum six months housekeeping supervisory experience in a hotel property of similar size and quality; experience in a 4 Star or 4 Diamond property preferred
• Knowledge of Hotel policies applicable to housekeeping, especially those relating to safety and security of guest and Hotel property
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and move continuously to inspect rooms on all floors of the Hotel
• Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice
• Strong interpersonal skills: ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful and flexible
• Ability to read and write basic English in order to complete forms such as a room status report and/or room inspection form
• Ability to provide clear direction, instruction and guidance to team members
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends
• Multiple language abilities preferred, fluency in English required
